Instagram Round-up, 2nd Quarter 2015

As some of you may know, Instagram is by far my favorite social media platform, followed closely by the YouTubes (subscribe to my channel if you haven't already and you'll be in for some neat vlogs - if I do say so myself). It's a terrific way of sharing your photography - even shots that have been taken on a professional camera, and transferred to your smartphone by various means - and I must admit that I probably use it a wee bit too much.

Anyway, I've seen a few different bloggers have an "Instagram roundup" of sorts every so often, and I thought I'd jump on that bandwagon every few months and share some of my favorites.

Here goes!

Have you ever seen anything like this? I have not. It's a rainbow around the sun! I didn't even notice it until my father pointed it out to me as I was giving him a ride to his truck one post-rain afternoon.

Every so often, this little man has an inkling to go for a ride in the car as I'm getting ready to leave, so if I can, I just take him along with me. A few weeks ago, I had to drop off a few materials at my dad's remodeling job, and he came along for the ride.

As you know, I went to North Carolina back in May to spend almost a week with my brother. Well, this guy was on the plane in the row before mine, and he brought this rose with him. His seat mate was curious enough to ask, and it turns out he was on his way to propose to his then-girlfriend. Hope she said yes!

One of my favorite things about my new (How long after I acquire something am I allowed to call it "new"?) Canon G7X is the flippable screen on the back. I'm sure this camera was made specifically for video bloggers. It's great for making sure you're actually in the shot, and as a makeshift tripod on flat surfaces when you don't have a legitimate one. Perfect for capturing time lapses of the sky.

This is one of my favorite pictures ever. My brother and I made the snap decision to rent a couple jet skis on the last day of my visit back in May, and it was SO MUCH FUN. I vlogged it, of course.

My mom doesn't always take good cell phone pictures, but when she does, they are terrific. ;) These two beautiful ladies are sisters, my cousins, and you can probably guess that we're at a wedding. I really like this picture.

I heart spring sunsets. This one happened after a day of downpours and clouds and all the types of miserableness that I find enjoyable.

Hope you enjoyed this idea! Have a great day - make it a great day.
