  1. Can you explain where the form is to fill out to enter or send me a link? Thanks for doing this, is so nice to see others giving instead of asking this advent.

    1. Hi Gloria! The form should load under the last picture and right above the sign off on this post. It's powered by Rafflecopter.com. Hope this helps, and good luck!

  4. ooh, this looks so lovely! I'd say my favorite thing about Advent is how it's a season of preparation for the feast of Christmas, both spiritually and decoration/gift-wise! My first choice would be pouch #3, and 2nd choice pouch #2. :) They just look so gorgeous!

  7. Hi Iris, I love all three of the pouches but the second and then the third are my favorite. One of the many things I love about Advent is the memories it brings back from my early childhood. Attending Catholic school has always made the holidays more reverent and the anticipation of Christmas as a child is something that I really try to keep in my heart.

  8. Man these are GORGEOUS. I love #2, but #1 is quite lovely too.

  9. My favorite thing about Advent is the beginning of the New Church Year and the extra time for pray and reflection that it brings. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday so I love the joyful sense of anticipation that Advent brings! I think my favorite pouch is #3 followed closely by #2, but they're all so beautiful that it's almost impossible to decide!

  10. My favorite thing about Advent is defiantly all the anticipation and excitement. As a kid it was more geared towards the Advent calendar and what piece of chocolate I would get to eat that night, but now that I'm older it has changed. The excitement and anticipation is still there but now more focused on the real reason for the season, the coming of Christ.

These are gorgeous I especially love 2&3!

  11. My favorite thing about Advent is the prayers we pray around the Advent wreath and the preparation we make for the coming of our Savior. I like all of the pouches, but 2 and 3 are my favorites.

  14. Best thing about Advent is watching my children's love for Jesus increase as they consider His infancy. Pouches 2 & 3 are lovely.

  15. My favorite thing about advent is the liturgical colors (purple is my favorite color) and the symbolism in the advent wreath.

I like pouch #1 the best! Did you make them? They are beautiful! I also loved that you were wearing purple in your video! Thanks for linking up in the advent blog-hop!

    1. Purple is one of my favorite colors, too. :) I did not make the pouches, although I am fairly sure they are handmade.

The purple-wearing wasn't planned, oddly enough. I didn't even make the connection until you mentioned it. How funny!

      Good luck!

  16. My favorite thing about Advent is praying and waiting in anticipation for Christ's birth. I would pick pouch #2 first, and then #1 second

  17. Wow, those are beautiful! My favorite thing about Advent is quietly preparing for the Lord's birth...and teaching my children the joy of anticipation. For the pouches, I like #2 then #1, but really I like them all :)

  18. My favorite thing about Advent is lighting the Advent wreath candle every Sunday and saying the special prayers that go with that. It used to be something we did with our boys; but now it's just my husband and me here at the old homestead, and it's still a sweet little weekly ceremony for us.

Iris, I love those pouches! I hope I win one. My favorite is 2; followed closely by 3! But they are all gorgeous. And I am always looking for "useful pots to put things in." (Pooh quote. Gotta love that Pooh!)

  19. For me Advent has a beautiful ambiance about it that always brings me back to the important things in life. My first choice would be pouch #2 and my second choice would be #3.

  20. My favorite thing about Advent is the wreath. Because candlelight brings peace to my heart.

First choice is 2, second is 1.
