i've been liebstered

Every time I hear the word "liebster," I immediately think of lobster.  Lovely, now I'm craving.  Sweet Rose M. of The Golden Road blog nominated me for said Liebster last week, and I'm honored to accept it!

Liebster Award Rules:
Acknowledge the blog that nominated you (done, The Golden Road).
Answer the 11 questions the nominating blogger created.
List 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers that deserve some recognition.
Write 11 questions for them to answer.
Notify them they've been nominated.

Les questions de Rose pour moi:
1.  An anonymous someone drops a note on your front porch saying they will fund a trip to either England, an African Safari, Prince Edward Island, or Italy.  Which do you choose?  Why?  Totally not a fair question.  If I only had to choose one, Italy, because Rome.  And Venice.  But then, the African Safari has all those terrific animals which would be a blast to photograph.  And London because photo ops and The Doctor.  And PEI because it's just absolutely stunning.  Gah.  I refuse to give one answer.

2.  You're being forced to re-do your room.  What color do you paint it?  Who would be so cruel...  My room is light greenish now, and I love it, but if I had to repaint, I suppose I'd go for robin's egg blue.

3.  Do you have a particular song you listen to often, but it never seems to get old?  If so, what is it?  I have a few, actually.  One is Pompeii by Bastille, since it came out.
Another is Helluva Life by Frankie Ballard.
I have a few more, but I'll spare you. This list could get long.

4.  Would you rather be lounging in the sun on the beach reading a good book, or adventuring in the waves?  I'd rather be in the waves, actually.  Preferably on a boat or surfboard.

5.  You suddenly end up with two twin kittens.  One is a girl; one is a boy.  What do you name them?  Goldberry and Heimdall.  Unless I get another hedgehog, then she'd be Goldberry, and the kitten would be Pond.

6.  You're organizing a get together with friends.  Would you choose a picnic or a movie night?  Definitely a picnic.

7.  What is your pet peeve?  People (especially guys) who tell me what they think I want to hear, and not what they actually think.  UGH.

8.  Is there a new hobby you've been wanting to try out?  Yes!  I've been enamored by the idea of embroidery and cross stitching for quite a while, thanks to Jenna, and I would love to try my hand at it, but haven't had the time yet.

9.  If you could pick one instrument to instantly master (without any effort on your part), which would you choose?  Violin.  I've wanted to learn it since I was a young'un.

10.  Would you like to be snowed inside for a week?  Absolutely not.  I've had it (almost literally) up to my nostrils with snow.  I like to think of winter as the Justin Bieber of seasons.  It was cute and exciting and fun in the beginning, but now it's just obnoxious and should probably stay in Canada.  (Sorry, Grace.  Kind of.  Okaynotreally.)

11.  Pick the closest book to you that you've read.  What is your favorite character in the book?  Anne of Green Gables, actually...  And most definitely Anne - pretty much because we are the same.  Red hair, imaginative, passionate, and stubborn to a fault, loving and hating with equal fervor, and inclined toward lifelong alliances with my kindred spirits. :)

4.  What is your favorite color and why?
